The new type RM-O-3-D with General Building Approval Z-78.6-125 is suitable for activating fire and smoke dampers that are equipped with electric or electro-pneumatic release mechanisms using the power off to operate principle.

Due to their functional characteristics, smoke detectors of the type RM-O-3-D only need to be serviced once per year.

The smoke detector type RM-O-3-D replaces the type RM-O/2.
